Florida Renovation Loans: Homes For Heroes can be combined with Local DPA's

Homes For Heroes can be combined with Local DPA's

Having worked in mortgage lending for over 32 years now, I still find myself becoming very excited whenever I get to bring new ideas to my local Palm Beach County marketplace.  I have recently joined Homes for Heroes as a local mortgage specialist for Jupiter.  Of course since I am licensed for the entire state of Florida, I can offer this powerful Florida's Homes For Heroes Program throughout the entire state of Florida.  When I learned more about the program, I recognized immediately that the power of this program can be enhanced when combined with many local and/or state of Florida Down Payment Assistance Programs I can offer.

I am certified to originate Housing Finance Agency Loans that offer both grants and second mortgages that can often cover most or all of the minimum required investments or MRI's that FHA, FNMA and FHLMC require.  I offer my clients State of Florida Housing programs as well as Lee County HFA loans that are available in Palm Beach County as well. I have combined many down payment assistance programs with Federal MCC tax credits before but now I can see that the Homes For Heroes Program can also be added as well!  I talk to clients every day that are paying more in rent then they would be paying in a mortgage payment and this hurt me since I know their is a better way.  The key is to spread the word.  Please do with every Hero you know.

One great website that lists many of the assistance programs that are offered is MyFirstFloridaHome.  I can let Realtors and their clients know how and when the Homes for Heroes program can be combined on a purchase of a Heroes new home.
