Florida Renovation Loans: Am I blind? Am I stupid? Where oh where is the undo button?

Am I blind? Am I stupid? Where oh where is the undo button?

Am I blind?  Am I stupid?  Where oh where is the undo button?  Has this happened to you?  You are in the process of creating a great blog, you've worked hard in getting it just the way you want, you add some fantastic pictures and then you press the enter key and it disappears?  Why isn't there an undo button like most other products we use?  This has happened to me over and over again.  You may be reading this blog and get annoyed and I apologize, but being a fairly new AR'r maybe you all know some trick and want to share.

So if anyone out there knows how to stop this from happening can you let me know?  All kidding aside, why can't there be an undo button on the tool bar:

Hi Susan,

For a newbie, you sound pretty knowledable to me. Although I've been here for a long time, I'm still not sure myself about some of the tech side things. However...there has been an auto-save for a while now, so your input should be saved one place or another, right?

Btw, I see you're in beautiful Stuart, FL...good for you!

Susan,

You are not blind or stupid!  A quick suggestion would be to use the Draft feature.  Then you have a chance to proofread/spell check your post before you go "Public" or "Member's Only.

I've learned to always create in DRAFT mode and to hit submit often :0)  This keeps me from swearing and throwing a right royal tantrum.  Welcome to AR

Suggesstion: Write the blog in MS Word or other word processor, then copy and paste into Activerain. Do the final formatting in Activerain.

I write it in WORD too...  Then post the pics to my desktop, so if it is gone...  I just re-paste.  :)

Hi Susan, write it in Word or copy it to Word before you submitt, Word also does a better job on spell check.

Susan, I have to ditto the same remarks.  It is so much easier drafting it on Word or saving it as a draft.  There is a tremendous time and effort that goes into writing your thoughts and entering the photos, and having them lost is terrible.  This way you can go back in and edit as you deem necessary until you are ready to finalize it.

There's a nice little plug in that works on Firefox, Chrome or Safari called Scribfire, you can use that for assistance also.

Lynda are you any relation to Kevin Eisenmann?  Thanks for your feedback.

Mary Kay, Susan, Dave.  I do work in Draft mode frequently, but it happens in there as well. Thank you for your suggestion.

Chris, I like your idea about the pics on the desktop, I tend to repaste as well.  I was just hoping that the powers to be.... could add the undo button on the banner.... I guess coming from a software background.....I look at a fix to software.  Thanks so much Chris.

Dan and Don,  I guess you are right.... should do the bulk of typing in Word then just copy and paste.  Thanks to you both for great input.

Gabe, as always, you inspire me.  Thanks for sharing your knowledge...have a super day!
