NO SIGNS ALLOWED - Except for DocuSign that is!

Every day I'm amazed at the speed with which technology changes.  I can remember a time just a mere 9 years ago working in a Fortune 500 Company as a computer technology specialist.  At that time, our department was responsible for all software migrations, implementations, and integration of the latest technology tools across the company.  We had just implemented a document library & workflow management solution across the company that would especially assist our proposals and legal departments to flow documents through, obtain document changes and signature signoffs.  I repeat, this was 9 years ago.

Fast forward to the present day!  Have we come a long way or is the Real Estate profession finally catching up with the times?  As we take advantage of these phenomenal tools and cloud technology, I'm excited that we have the capability of electronic offices on the go, opportunities to use dynamic tools like DocuSign, electronic signatures, e-faxing, Dropbox, etc. etc.

My previous closing was a short sale, and it was anything short of a nightmare, as I'm sure you all have experienced.  Thank goodness for DocuSign - it helped me, my office and all parties involved to come to a closing that almost didn't happen, because of delayed paperwork and other dilemmas.

Recently, my partner and I took full advantage of the capability and functionality of DocuSign. A client of ours is moving from home to home during the summer.  He asked that we list his Mom's home (home in trust) in Martin County on the Treasure Coast.  Because there will be multiple signatures on the agreement, DocuSign saved us time from having to fax multiple copies to all the siblings for signatures.  It's fast, simple, and a secured environment.  We can get the documents signed, initialed in all the right places. The documents are clean, not having to worry about downgrading legibility because of faxing.  We also appreciate that status is in "Real Time".  We can insert documents, transfer to pdf format, and the best of all, DocuSign is Mobile Device Friendly.

DocuSign, combined with efax and dropbox, plus the flexibility of mobile support,  it’s my electronic office on the run!  Thanks DocuSign!

This post is a submission to the DocuSign/ActiveRain Electronic Signature Stories Contest. It's possible I will win a prize for writing this post. You could win a prize too by going to the Contest Announcement and sharing your own story.
